Webshop software

WooCommerce
Our webshop was built using WooCommerce software. For our web hosting, we use Ulanti. Any personal data you provide to us for the purpose of our service provision are shared with this party. Ulanti only has access to your data in order to provide (technical) support to us. They will never use your data for any other purpose. On the grounds of our agreement, Ulanti is obligated to take appropriate data security measures. These measures consist of the use of SSL encryption and a strict password policy. Backups are made regularly to prevent data loss.

Our webshop was built using WooCommerce software. We host our webshop on our own server. We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the misuse, loss and corruption of data as much as possible. Web hosting

Hostnet
We make use of Hostnet’s web hosting and email services. Hostnet processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, it may collect metadata pertaining to the use of its services. These metadata do not include any personal data. Hostnet has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. On the grounds of our agreement, Hostnet has a confidentiality obligation regarding your personal data.

Email and mailing lists

MailChimp
We use MailChimp to send our email newsletters. MailChimp will never use your name or your email address for its own purposes. You can find an “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email that is automatically sent via our website. If you click on this link, you will no longer receive our newsletters. Your personal data are securely stored by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other forms of internet technology that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your personal data to further improve its services and share information with third parties for this purpose.

Business email traffic
For our standard business email traffic, we use the services of Hostnet. This party has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Hostnet does not have access to our inbox and we treat all our email traffic with confidentiality.

Payment processors

Stripe
We make use of the Stripe platform to process (some of) the payments we receive via our webshop. Stripe processes your name, address and payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Stripe has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Stripe reserves the right to use your personal data to further improve its services and share (anonymised) information with third parties for this purpose. If you request a deferred payment (credit facility), Stripe will share your personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit assessors. All aforementioned guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those aspects of Stripe’s services for whom they use third parties. Stripe will not store your personal data any longer than permitted on the grounds of the legal data retention periods.

We collect product reviews via the WooCommerce platform. When you write a product review via WooCommerce, you are required to enter your name and email address. BuyYoghurt.com will publish the name you enter on its own website.

Shipping and logistics

DHL and SendCloud
When you place an order with us, it is our job to have the shipment delivered to your door. We use the services of DHL and SendCloud to handle our deliveries. For this purpose, we are required to share your name and address information with DHL and SendCloud. DHL and SendCloud will only use this information for the purpose of executing our agreement. If DHL and/or SendCloud use subcontractors to provide their services, DHL and SendCloud will also share your personal data with these parties.

We use the services of Snelstart for administrative and accounting purposes. We share your name and address and the details of your order. However, our staff can no longer access your client profile or any of the documents that were produced for the purpose of our service provision to you.

If we receive a request to be forgotten, these records will contain anonymised data instead. Copies of your data will be sent to you in the machine-readable data format that we use in our systems.
